Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Must be flexible to work overtime and weekends as necessary due to customer demands.

Position Overview
The Maintenance Technician is a mechanically/technically-minded, people-oriented individual who will work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include basic carpentry, troubleshooting, managing facility issues, coordinating preventative and reactive maintenance, and handling small building and grounds projects. Safety is a priority, especially when working on projects with potential risks. The candidate should be customer service driven, interacting with employees and outside personnel.

Essential Functions

• Operate facility scrubbers
• Perform skilled duties such as cleaning, painting, basic plumbing, carpentry on doors, floors, docks, overhead doors, roof downspouts, racks, and equipment
• Use hand power tools and building equipment regularly
• Manage building access controls and security
• Work effectively in teams, receptive to coaching and feedback
• Maintain high attention to detail
• Respond promptly to building and grounds requests
• Perform groundskeeping, trash disposal, walkway clearing, and snow removal
• Collaborate with Facilities/General Manager on maintenance projects
• Other duties as assigned

Work Environment
Primarily in an office setting with close proximity to peers and foot traffic.

Required Education and Experience

• High school diploma or GED
• 1-3 years of facility maintenance experience

Physical Requirements
The role involves walking, standing, bending, kneeling, crouching, crawling, climbing, lifting up to 70 pounds, and requires good vision. It is a very active role.
