Job description

Kable Staffing is hiring a Maintenance Technician in Covington, KY. This position is a full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Perform and maintain preventative maintenance of all process plant and utility plant equipment as directed by supervisor.
2. Perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on rolling stock.
3. Repair and maintain machinery and equipment including pumps, rolling stock, electrical components, tanks, vessels, pipe welding, heat exchangers, building and grounds, and other equipment.
4. Use preventative maintenance software programs as needed.
5. Maintain plant facilities by practicing effective housekeeping procedures.
6. Complete tasks assigned by Maintenance Supervisors, Managers, or Leads.
7. Maintain a team environment and provide high-level customer service with a positive attitude.
8. Follow GMP, PPE, OSHA, and company safety procedures and regulations.
9. Perform additional duties as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor.

REQUIREMENTS

1. High school diploma or GED and four years of experience in skilled trades.
2. Basic knowledge of process and quality procedures.
3. Proficiency in English and/or Spanish.
4. Basic mathematical skills.
5. Ability in mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical disciplines.
6. Robotics and/or PLC experience is a plus.
7. Self-motivated with the ability to follow through on assignments.
8. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and lift up to 50+ lbs.
9. Physical abilities including reaching, grasping, pushing, pulling, bending, twisting, squatting, climbing, kneeling, and standing for prolonged periods.
10. Good communication skills.
