Summary

Maintain, service, and repair Tulsa Housing Authority (THA) owned or operated facilities and equipment that do not require a license issued by the State of Oklahoma or the City of Tulsa. Perform routine maintenance on structures including carpentry, electrical, plumbing, appliance maintenance, heating, and air conditioning to ensure high standards of maintenance in a fast-paced environment. Undertake various building and renovation projects such as roofing, painting, redecoration, and floor repair to prepare units or complete work orders. Lead and direct lesser skilled mechanics, assistants, and laborers under the supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor.

This role involves working in a challenging environment within a public housing high-rise. Despite the difficulty, this position is vital for maintaining housing services for Tulsa's vulnerable populations. Requirements (Not An All-Inclusive List)

• High school diploma or GED and 1-3 years of related experience or equivalent
• Valid Oklahoma driver’s license
• Ability to work overtime and respond to emergency calls
• Previous experience as a maintenance technician required
• Supervisory experience preferred
