Job summary

MAXX Properties is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support the Deerpath on the Lake community in Tampa, FL. The role involves hands-on building and equipment maintenance, responding to resident requests, and ensuring market-ready apartments are prepared for new occupants.

The ideal candidate will have basic electrical, plumbing, HVAC and appliance repair skills, plus a preference for EPA Type II or Universal certification. A true team-player mentality and reliability are essential assets.

Responsibilities

• Prepare vacant apartments to market-ready state.

• Keep grounds and common areas clean and tidy.

• Prepare or assist in preparing vacant apartments to a market ready-condition
• Respond to resident service requests (light bulb changes, minor HVAC, caulking, appliance repairs, filter changes, etc.)
• Perform on-call emergency service as required
• Assist the Maintenance Supervisor on special maintenance projects as needed
• Assist with keeping grounds and common areas free of trash and debris
