Job summary

Lakewood Park Manor and Norwalk Retirement Villa are seeking a Medical Technician to join our team in providing compassionate care for senior residents. You will provide direct care and medication assistance, following physician orders, established procedures, and state regulations.

A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, with valid First Aid certifications; CPR and CNA certifications may be required depending on state rules. Fluency in English is essential for effective communication.

  • This position prefers a high school diploma or equivalent certificate.
  • Must possess valid First Aid Certifications; CPR and CNA certifications may be required.
  • Speak, read and understand English fluently.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct care and medication assistance to residents as required.
  • Follow physicians' orders, outlined procedures, and state laws regarding medications.
  • Maintain ongoing education and renew licenses as required.

What you will do:
  • Responsible for providing direct care and medication assistance to the residents in a manner that meets or exceeds Community expectations
  • Follow outlined procedure, physicians' orders, and state laws when assisting or supervising residents with medications. Exhibit an understanding of and be willing to follow medication policy and procedures.
  • This position prefers a high school diploma or equivalent certificate and a competent history in a similar facility.
  • Must possess valid First Aid Certifications and, according to state regulations may need to possess current CPR, Certified Nursing Assistant Certification state certifications, and pass an examination and/or skills evaluation. Also, must meet requirements for continuing education and maintain all license(s).
  • Speak read and understand English fluently.
Must haves:

Pay rate $19.00 -$21.50 per hour DOE
