Job summary

Friedman Real Estate seeks a Maintenance Technician to perform on-site maintenance for multifamily properties. You will prep apartments for make-ready turns, handle general maintenance duties, and respond to service requests and after-hours emergencies.

The role includes PM on HVAC and other systems, snow removal, and grounds maintenance of common areas. A valid driver’s license and basic tools are required.

Qualifications

• Two years of maintenance experience in multi-family properties.
• HVAC certification a plus.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Knowledge of make-ready unit turns, including light carpentry, plumbing and electrical.

Responsibilities

• Prepping apartments for make-ready turns.
• General maintenance duties as necessary.
• On-call; respond to after-hours emergency calls.
• Snow removal and grounds maintenance of common areas.
• Preventative maintenance and repair on HVAC and other mechanical systems.
• Complete work orders for service requests including plumbing, carpentry, light electrical.
