Job summary

Friedman Real Estate is seeking a Maintenance Technician to service on-site multi-family properties in Kansas City, MO. You will prep apartments for make-ready turns, handle general maintenance tasks, and respond to service requests.

Responsibilities include preventative maintenance on HVAC and mechanical systems, snow removal, grounds and common areas, and after-hours calls. Two years of on-site maintenance experience required; HVAC certification is a plus; valid driver's license required.

Qualifications

• Two years of on-site maintenance experience in multi-family/residential properties.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Knowledge of make-ready unit turns, including light carpentry, plumbing and electrical.

Responsibilities

• Prepping apartments for make-ready turns.
• General maintenance duties as necessary.
• Complete work orders for service requests and preventative maintenance on HVAC and other systems.
• Respond to after-hours emergency calls.
• Snow removal and maintenance of grounds, including common areas.
