Qualifications

• 8 years of experience in Maintenance.
• 8 years of experience in Electrical work.
• Proficient in PLCs and CMMS for maintenance planning.
• Experience with conveyors and packaging equipment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and repairs on packaging equipment and panels.
• Carry out preventive maintenance and start-up/shut-down procedures daily.
• Identify root causes and implement swift fixes to minimize downtime.
• Provide hands-on training to Operators and Mechanics.
• Collaborate with management to improve procedures and document PMs, repairs, and parts usage.

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician III to lead our client's technical maintenance activities, keep the facility running at peak performance, and mentor the next generation of mechanics. If you bring an advanced mechanical/electrical skill set and a passion for continuous improvement, we want you on the team!

salary: $62,399 - $62,400 per year

shift: First

work hours: 7 AM - 4 PM

education: High School

Responsibilities

• Perform complex mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and repairs on packaging equipment, conveyor systems, electronics, and electrical panels.
• Carry out timely preventive maintenance, properly start up/shut down equipment daily, and inspect machines to keep production humming.
• Identify root causes of equipment issues by observing and listening to operating machinery, then execute swift, accurate fixes.
• Serve as a key technical resource by providing daily hands-on training to Machine Operators and Mechanics.
• Work with management to refine maintenance procedures, boost efficiency, and uphold rigorous documentation (PMs, repairs, parts usage, and machine adjustments) using a CMMS.
• Strict adherence to OSHA guidelines and company safety policies at all times.

The essential functions of this role include:

• working in a smoke free environment
• wearing steel toe shoes
• working in a non-temperature controlled environment
• manual lifting up to 50lbs
• standing for 8 hours at one time
• working weekends
