Job summary

Randstad USA is seeking a proactive maintenance technician for a tier-one automotive supplier's machining facility in Ohio. This hands-on role requires installing, troubleshooting, and repairing production and facility equipment to maintain safety and quality standards.

You'll monitor CNC machines, utilize PLCs, and participate in 5S initiatives and new equipment installations, collaborating with production leaders and vendors to foster a positive, efficient work environment.

Qualifications

• 2 years of maintenance or equipment experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Proficient reading of schematics and blueprints for maintenance.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment.
• Read and interpret wire schematics, blueprints, manuals and work orders.
• CNC machine monitoring, troubleshooting, and repair.
• Diagnose machine problems using PLC ladder logic.
• Replace/repair parts, test, and adjust.
• Perform preventative maintenance on machines, equipment, and facilities.
• Use hand tools, multi-meter, gauges, calipers, and specialty tools.
• Lead 5S projects in work areas.
• Install new machinery and verify asset numbers.
• Support Kaizen or Quality Circles; teamwork.

Are you a proactive, detail-oriented maintenance technician with a passion for continuous improvement? We're seeking a skilled individual to join our team at a tier one automotive supplier's machining facility. In this role, you'll be responsible for the installation, troubleshooting, and repair of production and facility equipment, ensuring safety and quality standards are met. This is a hands-on position that requires expertise in CNC machine monitoring, PLC, and preventative maintenance. You'll collaborate with various teams, including production leaders and vendors, and play a key part in projects like 5S initiatives and new equipment installations. salary: $54,080 - $68,640 per year

Responsibilities

• Responsibilities, Deliverables, Outcomes, and Expectations:
• Commitment to companyobjectives regarding safety, quality, cost, delivery, and management as communicated in the handbook, shift meetings, and postings
• Perform scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment
• Read and interpret wire schematics, blueprints, equipment manuals, and work orders to perform required planned maintenance and service
• CNC machine monitoring, troubleshooting, and repair
• Diagnosing machine problems using PLC ladder logic
• Replace and/or repair parts, test, and make adjustments
• Perform preventative maintenance on machines, equipment, and facilities
• Utilize hand tools, multi-meter, gauges, calipers, and specialty tools to maintain equipment
• 5S projects (Sort, Set-in-order, Shine, Standardize, and Sustain) work areas.
• Perform scheduled maintenance on machines during shutdowns.
• Perform inspections, audits, or inventory for maintenance items.
• Perform/assist with new machinery installation.
• Verify asset numbers on equipment
• Team involvement in Kaizen or Quality Circles
