Job summary

Randstad USA is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Mechanic to keep complex industrial systems running at peak performance on the shop floor. You will diagnose electrical issues, work with high-voltage PLCs and motors, and serve as a go-to problem solver in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience working as an electrical maintenance mechanic specifically within a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Technical Skills: Proven ability to accurately read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints.
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with industrial electrical systems (e.g., 120V, 240V, 480V, three-phase systems, relays, switches, and motors).
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and work in a manufacturing floor environment.
  • Attributes: problem-solving skills, punctuality, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

  • Troubleshoot & Repair: Diagnose and repair electrical malfunctions in manufacturing machinery, control panels, and facility systems.
  • Preventative Maintenance: Perform routine PMs on electrical components and production equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Blueprint Reading: Inspect, interpret, and work directly from electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
  • System Installation: Install new electrical systems, wiring, conduits, and electronic components as needed.
  • Safety & Compliance: Adhere strictly to all OSHA, National Electrical Code (NEC), and company safety regulations, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
