Randstad USA is seeking a Quality-driven Maintenance Technician to join a fast-paced production team in Memphis, TN. You will troubleshoot, maintain, and repair high-speed production equipment and facility systems to keep operations safe and efficient.

The role emphasizes safety, preventive maintenance, hands-on leadership, and documentation in CMMS, with a yearly salary of $62,000–$66,560 and a first shift from 5:00 AM to 3:30 PM. High School education is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in maintenance with a focus on electrical/mechanical systems.
• High school diploma required.
• Experience with high-speed production equipment and facility power systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safety & Compliance: Strictly adhere to OSHA safety guidelines and company safety policies.
• Advanced Maintenance & Repair: Perform mechanical and electrical maintenance and repairs on packaging machinery and electrical panels.
• Conveyor Systems Maintenance: Inspect and repair conveyor drive components and electrical controls.
• Diagnostic Troubleshooting: Identify root causes of machine failures through observation.
• Preventive Maintenance (PM): Complete PM tasks on schedule to maximize uptime.
• Documentation & CMMS Tracking: Maintain PM records and parts usage using CMMS software.
• Line Support & Operations: Ensure proper startup/shutdown protocols for production equipment.
• Leadership & Mentorship: Train and guide machine operators and maintenance staff.
• Process Improvement: Help standardize maintenance procedures to boost efficiency.
• Additional Duties: Perform other technical duties as assigned.

We are seeking a quality drivenMaintenance Technician to join our fast-paced production team! In this role, you will perform essential troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair on high-speed production equipment and facility systems to keep our operations running safely and efficiently. You will work side-by-side with production staff and plant management to tackle daily technical challenges, minimize downtime, enforce strict safety standards, and keep our lines running at peak reliability.

salary: $62,000 - $66,560 per year

Responsibilities

• Safety & Compliance: Strictly adhere to and enforce all OSHA safety guidelines and company safety policies at all times.
• Advanced Maintenance & Repair: Execute advanced mechanical and electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on high-speed packaging machinery, electrical panels, and facility power distribution systems.
• Conveyor Systems Maintenance: Routinely inspect, align, and repair both mechanical drive components and electrical control aspects of plant conveyor systems.
• Diagnostic Troubleshooting: Quickly identify root causes of machine failures by observing and listening to mechanical devices and controls in operation.
• Preventive Maintenance (PM): Perform required preventive maintenance tasks accurately and on schedule to maximize equipment uptime.
• Documentation & CMMS Tracking: Maintain meticulous records of PM tasks, repairs, adjustments, parts usage, and continuous improvement projects using a CMMS and standard documentation software.
• Line Support & Operations: Ensure proper daily startup and shutdown protocols for all production equipment.
• Leadership & Mentorship: Provide daily hands‑on technical training, guidance, and support to Machine Operators and Maintenance Mechanics.
• Process Improvement: Assist management in developing, refining, and standardizing maintenance procedures to boost line efficiency and equipment reliability.
• Additional Duties: Perform other technical and operational duties as assigned by leadership.

The essential functions of this role include:

• working in a smoke free environment
• wearing steel toe shoes
• working in a non-temperature controlled environment
• manual lifting up to 50lbs
• standing for 12 hours at one time
• working up to 10 hrs of overtime per week
