Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of maintenance experience in manufacturing/industrial settings.
  • Electrical troubleshooting with 480V / 3-phase systems.
  • Ability to read electrical schematics, mechanical blueprints, and manuals.
  • Experience with micrometers and calipers is a plus.
  • LOTO and safety compliance knowledge.

Responsibilities

  • Heavy machinery troubleshooting on CNCs, SMT lines, presses.
  • Electrical and automation repair up to 480V 3-phase.
  • PLC navigation with Allen Bradley or Siemens.
  • Equipment setup and teardown of new lines.
  • Preventative maintenance to minimize downtime.

Location: Charlotte, NC & Surrounding Metro (Concord, Gastonia, Pineville) Position Type: Permanent / Direct-Hire Shift: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Shifts Available Compensation: $28- $34+ per hour (Depending on electrical/PLC proficiency)

We are not looking for property or apartment maintenance. Our clients need true industrial technicians who can turn wrenches, confidently work with up to 480V 3-phase systems, and keep complex production machinery running efficiently. Technical Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of dedicated maintenance experience in a fast-paced manufacturing or industrial environment (Property management, residential, or commercial building maintenance will not be considered for these specific roles).
  • Expertise in electrical troubleshooting, specifically with 480V / 3-phase motors down to 24V DC systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret complex electrical schematics, mechanical blueprints, and technical manuals.
  • Familiarity with precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers) and basic fabrication/welding is a plus.
  • A strong commitment to lock-out/tag-out (LOTO) and industrial safety protocols.

Core Responsibilities
  • Heavy Machinery Troubleshooting: Diagnose and repair complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic failures on industrial production machinery (e.g., CNC machines, surface mount technology, automated assembly lines, presses).
  • Electrical & Automation Repair: Safely troubleshoot and repair electrical systems up to 480V 3-phase, motor control systems, VFDs, sensors, relays, and switches.
  • PLC Navigation: Connect to and troubleshoot programmable logic controllers (Allen Bradley, Siemens) to diagnose faults and clear production bottlenecks.
  • Equipment Setup & Teardown: Assist engineering teams with the installation, validation, and start-up of new production lines and automated equipment.
  • Preventative Maintenance: Execute aggressive preventative maintenance (PM) schedules to minimize unplanned downtime, modifying and replacing worn components before failure occurs.
