Magnaloy is seeking a dependable Maintenance Technician to join its manufacturing team. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment, troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems, and support continuous improvement while following safety policies.

The role requires hands-on experience with mechanical and electrical systems, the ability to read schematics and manuals, and strong problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
• Reoccurring cleaning of machines and equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and other equipment systems.
• Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns and production maintenance needs.
• Inspect machinery and identify potential problems before failures occur.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and document completed work.
• Install, modify, and repair machinery, equipment, and facility systems.
• Use hand tools, power tools, meters, and other maintenance equipment safely.
• Read and interpret equipment manuals, electrical diagrams, blueprints, and schematics.
• Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and continuous‑improvement projects.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe maintenance work area.
• Follow all company safety policies, lockout/tagout procedures, and applicable regulations.
• Communicate maintenance issues and equipment status with production and management.

About the Position:

We are seeking a dependable and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our manufacturing team. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and improving production equipment and facility systems to help ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations. • Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting experience.
• Ability to diagnose and repair equipment efficiently.
• Basic knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, pumps, and mechanical systems.
• Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and equipment documentation.
• Strong problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to work overtime, weekends, or different shifts when needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Technical school, industrial maintenance, or related training.
• Experience with automated manufacturing equipment.
• Welding or fabrication experience.
• Experience with preventive maintenance programs.
• Forklift or aerial lift certification.

Physical Requirements:

This position requires the ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, and work in and around manufacturing equipment. The employee must be able to safely lift and move materials and tools as required and work in a manufacturing environment that may include noise, heat, dust, and moving machinery.
