Job summary

OKE Group GmbH in Texas is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our manufacturing team. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot equipment issues, and repair mechanical and electrical systems to keep production running safely and efficiently.

You will read schematics, work with PLCs/HMI, and document maintenance activities while ensuring a safe plant environment. Your responsibilities include diagnosing issues, maintaining equipment reliability, and supporting upgrades

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical education preferred.
  • Experience maintaining industrial electrical and mechanical equipment.
  • Ability to read schematics and technical manuals.
  • Familiarity with CMMS software is a plus.
  • Willingness to lift 25–50 lbs and operate lifts/forklifts.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and automated production equipment
  • Diagnose issues involving PLCs, HMIs, sensors, motors, servos, and control systems
  • Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to improve reliability and reduce downtime
  • Read electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals to identify equipment problems
  • Install, maintain, and test motors, wiring, controls, and other machine components
  • Use electrical meters and diagnostic tools to test equipment and verify repairs
  • Document maintenance activities, equipment issues, repairs, and test results
  • Follow safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout and OSHA requirements
  • Support and share technical knowledge with production and maintenance team members
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Technician to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot equipment issues, and repair mechanical, electrical, and basic facility systems to keep production running safely and efficiently. You will work closely with production and other internal teams to minimize downtime, improve equipment reliability, and address maintenance needs in a timely manner. Your technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and commitment to safety will help maintain a reliable and productive manufacturing environment.From $25.00 an hour

Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and automated production equipment
  • Diagnose issues involving PLCs, HMIs, sensors, motors, servos, and control systems
  • Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime
  • Read electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals to identify equipment problems
  • Install, maintain, and test motors, wiring, controls, and other machine components
  • Use electrical meters and diagnostic tools to test equipment and verify repairs
  • Document maintenance activities, equipment issues, repairs, and test results
  • Assist with equipment upgrades, prototype fixtures, and manufacturing improvement projects
  • Identify root causes of equipment failures and help implement corrective actions
  • Follow all applicable safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout, electrical safety, and OSHA requirements
  • Support and share technical knowledge with production and maintenance team members
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical education or certification in industrial maintenance, electrical technology, mechatronics, or a related field preferred
  • Previous experience maintaining or repairing electrical and mechanical equipment in a manufacturing or industrial environment
  • Practical knowledge of electrical troubleshooting, mechanical systems, motors, sensors, pneumatics, or hydraulics
  • Basic experience with PLCs, HMIs, automated equipment, or industrial control systems preferred
  • Ability to read electrical schematics, equipment drawings, and technical documentation
  • Experience using multimeters, ammeters, ohmmeters, or similar diagnostic tools
  • Familiarity with preventive maintenance programs or CMMS software is a plus
  • Welding, fabrication, HVAC/R, firmware, or industrial networking experience is preferred but not required
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to identify problems and complete repairs safely
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills
  • Willingness to learn new equipment, automation systems, and maintenance technologies
  • Ability to operate scissor lifts or forklifts safely, or willingness to complete required training
  • Ability to perform job duties requiring prolonged standing, frequent bending, stooping, and kneeling, handling materials safely, operating equipment such as scissor lifts and forklifts, and lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling items weighing 25-50 lbs., with sufficient strength, coordination, and stamina to work safely in a manufacturing environment
