Job summary

Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East is seeking a reliable Property Maintenance Technician for a residential apartment complex. The role focuses on maintaining the overall condition, safety, and appearance of the property while delivering excellent service to residents.

Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM with pay: $20 and up/hour. Responsibilities include routine maintenance, turnovers, preventative inspections, and groundskeeping as needed to ensure resident satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Previous maintenance experience preferred (apartment or residential setting a plus).
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry.
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs in apartments and common areas.
• Complete work orders in a timely and professional manner.
• Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general maintenance issues.
• Prepare vacant units for new residents (turnovers).
• Conduct preventative maintenance inspections.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of maintenance areas and tools.
• Assist with groundskeeping as needed (trash removal, light landscaping, etc.).
• Respond to maintenance emergencies when required.
