Now hiring for a Maintenance Technician - Direct Hire

Location: Paris, KY

Pay Rate: $30.00 - $38.00 per hour

Schedule: 2-2-3 Schedule 7 am-7 pm

Looking for Maintenance Technician jobs in Paris where your technical skills keep equipment operating at its best? This opportunity allows you to troubleshoot problems, perform repairs, and help maintain the systems that keep production moving safely and efficiently.

Job Duties
  • Perform preventive and reactive maintenance on all production equipment and building.
  • Perform mechanical skills including but not limited to mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting, and repair of machines.
  • Installation of new equipment.
Education Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Technical school, vocational training, or industrial maintenance certification preferred.
Experience Requirements
  • Experience maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, or pneumatic equipment.
  • Ability to read technical manuals, diagrams, blueprints, or equipment documentation.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
  • Commitment to workplace safety, quality workmanship, and preventative maintenance practices.
  • Working knowledge of PLC. FANUC controls desirable.
  • Robot background is a plus. Knowledge of wiring 480 volt circuits for motors and controls.
  • Working knowledge of metal stamping, CNC machine centers, and any other high-speed assembly is a plus
Preferred Qualifications
  • Minimum 4 years Mechanical/Electrical experience in an industrial environment.
  • Experience performing preventative maintenance programs and responding to equipment breakdowns is beneficial.
  • Knowledge of PLCs, electrical controls, hydraulics, pneumatics, welding, or fabrication is considered an asset.
  • Individuals who demonstrate strong troubleshooting abilities, teamwork, and a commitment to continuous improvement are well positioned for success as a Maintenance Technician.
Physical Capabilities
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, kneel, and work in a variety of industrial environments throughout the shift.
  • Ability to lift equipment, tools, and replacement parts weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to safely work around moving machinery while following established safety procedures.
  • Manual dexterity to operate tools, perform repairs, and inspect equipment.
