Job summary

Staffmark Group in Las Vegas is seeking a Maintenance Technician to help keep production lines running safely and efficiently. The role pays $32.00 per hour with a Sunday-Wednesday, 6am-4:30pm schedule.

You will troubleshoot, repair, perform preventive maintenance, read schematics, and support operations across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. High school diploma or GED required; technical training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes and diagnoses mechanical equipment problems and breakdowns.
• Recommends the correct service and repair actions to resolve equipment performance problems.
• Makes appropriate equipment repairs or modifications to solve operating and performance problems as dictated by the analysis of the equipment.
• Performs scheduled maintenance.
• Follows all scheduled maintenance procedures and policies as dictated by the company.
• Secures and maintains service.
• Keeps the work area clean and hazard-free.
• Ability to support operations partners through battery changes, facilities plumbing issues, and projects as needed.

Education Requirements

• Ability to read technical manuals, diagrams, blueprints, or equipment documentation.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
• Commitment to workplace safety, quality workmanship, and preventative maintenance practices.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in manufacturing, industrial maintenance, facilities maintenance, or a related technical environment is preferred.
• Experience performing preventative maintenance programs and responding to equipment breakdowns is beneficial.
• Knowledge of PLCs, electrical controls, hydraulics, pneumatics, welding, or fabrication is considered an asset.
• Individuals who demonstrate strong troubleshooting abilities, teamwork, and a commitment to continuous improvement are well positioned for success as a Maintenance Technician.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, kneel, and work in a variety of industrial environments throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift equipment, tools, and replacement parts weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to safely work around moving machinery while following established safety procedures.
• Manual dexterity to operate tools, perform repairs, and inspect equipment.
