Job summary

Atrium Hospitality in North Charleston, SC seeks a Hotel Maintenance Technician. The role focuses on preventive maintenance, guest room care, and timely work orders to keep operations smooth and safe.

You will troubleshoot minor electrical, HVAC, and plumbing issues, maintain pool systems, and repair furniture and hotel equipment. Candidates with at least 6 months in maintenance and ability to lift 25–50 lb are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of general maintenance experience required; hotel maintenance experience preferred
• Ability to lift 25 lbs regularly and 50 lbs occasionally
• Ability to bend, squat, walk, and stand for extended periods
• HVAC, electrical, or plumbing certification a plus

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance tasks, including guest room care
• Complete and document guest and associate work orders
• Troubleshoot and repair minor electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems
• Maintain, clean, and adjust pool systems and chemicals
• Repair furniture, fixtures, and hotel equipment such as laundry, kitchen, and small appliances
• Perform seasonal landscaping, groundskeeping, and trash removal duties
• Operate and maintain hand tools and power equipment
