Job summary

Waffle House is seeking a Maintenance Technician to service multiple restaurants in and around Charleston, SC. You will install and repair restaurant and refrigeration equipment, perform electrical, plumbing, and HVAC work, and handle roof repairs as needed.

The role requires hands-on skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently within a team. A company vehicle is provided and a schedule from 7am to 5pm with on-call weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• EPA Universal Certification is required.
• Experience with refrigeration equipment preferred.
• Willingness to perform installation, repair, and preventive maintenance on restaurant equipment.

Responsibilities

• Install and repair restaurant and refrigeration equipment.
• Perform electrical, plumbing, and HVAC work.
• Repair roofs and replace doors, blinds, and tiles as needed.

Job description

The Waffle House Maintenance Technician will be responsible for multiple restaurants in and around the geographical area. Job responsibilities will include installation and repair of restaurant and refrigeration equipment, electrical work, plumbing, HVAC, roof repair and replacement of doors, blinds, tiles, etc.

Required Experience:

1. Basic Plumbing
2. Basic building electrical wiring (low voltage and 120/208 volt, single and 3 phase service)
3. Use of small power/hand tools
4. HVAC repair for units up to 5 ton
5. EPA Universal Certification
