Job summary

The Waffle House is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support multiple restaurants in the Wilmington, DE area. You will install and repair refrigeration equipment, perform electrical, plumbing and HVAC work, and handle roof repairs and door/blind/tile replacements.

This role requires hands-on skills, reliability, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with the team. Typical schedule is 7am–5pm, Monday–Friday, with rotating on-call duties for weekends, nights, and holidays; a

Qualifications

• Basic plumbing skills required.
• Basic electrical wiring knowledge (low voltage, 120/208V, single/3-phase).
• Ability to use small power/hand tools.
• HVAC repair experience for units up to 5 tons.
• EPA Universal Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Install and repair restaurant and refrigeration equipment.
• Perform electrical, plumbing, HVAC work as needed.
• Repair roofs and replace doors, blinds, tiles, etc.

Job description

The Waffle House Maintenance Technician will be responsible for multiple restaurants in and around the geographical area. Job responsibilities will include installation and repair of restaurant and refrigeration equipment, electrical work, plumbing, HVAC, roof repair and replacement of doors, blinds, tiles, etc.

Required Experience:

1. Basic Plumbing
2. Basic building electrical wiring (low voltage and 120/208 volt, single and 3 phase service)
3. Use of small power/hand tools
4. HVAC repair for units up to 5 ton
5. EPA Universal Certification
