North Charleston Embassy Suites - Atrium Hospitality in North Charleston, SC is hiring for a full-time Maintenance role. The position involves performing scheduled preventive maintenance in guest rooms, completing work orders, and troubleshooting electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems to ensure smooth hotel operations.

The role requires basic maintenance experience, ability to lift 25 lbs regularly and 50 lbs occasionally, and standing for extended periods.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of general maintenance experience; hotel maintenance experience preferred.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs regularly and 50 lbs occasionally.
• Ability to bend, squat, walk, and stand for extended periods.
• HVAC, electrical, or plumbing certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance tasks, including guest room care.
• Complete and document guest and associate work orders.
• Troubleshoot and repair minor electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems.
• Maintain, clean, and adjust pool systems and chemicals.
• Repair furniture, fixtures, and hotel equipment such as laundry, kitchen, and small appliances.
• Perform seasonal landscaping, groundskeeping, and trash removal duties.
• Operate and maintain hand tools and power equipment.
