Job summary

Raleigh Durham Embassy Suites in Cary, NC is seeking a full-time maintenance technician to perform preventative tasks, repair minor systems, and document work orders. You’ll maintain guest room areas and hotel equipment, including pools and grounds, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for guests.

The role requires at least 6 months of general maintenance experience, physical ability to lift up to 25 lb regularly and 50 lb occasionally, and may benefit from HVAC, electrical, or plumbing

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of general maintenance experience required; hotel maintenance experience preferred.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs regularly and 50 lbs occasionally.
• HVAC, electrical, or plumbing certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance tasks, including guest room care
• Complete and document guest and associate work orders
• Troubleshoot and repair minor electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems
• Maintain, clean, and adjust pool systems and chemicals
• Repair furniture, fixtures, and hotel equipment such as laundry, kitchen, and small appliances
• Perform seasonal landscaping, groundskeeping, and trash removal duties
• Operate and maintain hand tools and power equipment
