Maintenance Technician, Little Rock AR

Starting pay: $27.50 per hour plus $.95 shift differential.

Training on 1st shift for 4-6 months, 4:00 am - 2:30 pm. After 3-6 months depending on experience, move to a 2nd or 3rd shift.

As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in our operations, ensuring the availability of quality products for our customers. Your work will directly impact people's lives!

Primary Responsibilities

1. Perform mechanical repairs, modifications, and installations.
2. Perform sheet metal repairs, modifications, and installations.
3. Conduct preventive maintenance on plant, lab, office, and maintenance equipment.
4. Handle minor building maintenance with minimal assistance.
5. Complete carpentry, plumbing, welding, painting, and construction projects; assist Electrician as needed.
6. Read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and wiring diagrams.
7. Weld most projects independently.
8. Check safety equipment regularly.
9. Assist in cleaning and yard work.
10. Help with scheduling, processing work requests, and purchasing.
11. Take responsibility for work in the absence of a supervisor.
12. Assist in training new employees across all work phases.
13. Perform Confined Space Entry procedures.

Qualifications

• Ability to work in environments without air conditioning, with temperature fluctuations and high noise levels.
• Ability to stand for long periods and move around production equipment.
• PLC experience is advantageous.
• Ability to lift/carry up to 60 pounds.
• Strong troubleshooting skills required.
