Description

Title: Field Service Technician

Location: Remote - Based in NC or FL preferred. Open to strong candidates in VA, TN, MO.

Salary Range: $50,000 - $60,000 / year. Plus, potential bonuses

Travel: 60% travel to customer sites for startup, maintenance, and troubleshooting on CV Technology protected systems. Training includes hands-on learning, site visits, shadowing, and working with veteran technicians. Deployment in Canada, Mexico, and other international locations may occur.

Key Responsibilities

• Commissioning of CV Technology explosion mitigation systems.
• Verifying system functionality.
• Providing training to plant personnel.
• Delivering outstanding customer service.
• Emergency response for system activation.
• Completing reports for site visits.
• Managing personal expenses and travel bookings.
• Quoting spare parts and services.

Requirements

• 60% travel to North American customer locations (2-3 days/week).
• Instrumentation, controls, or mechanical experience (preferred).
• Electrical systems and low voltage wiring knowledge (preferred).
• 1-2 years of heavy travel role experience (preferred).
• Excellent customer relations skills and communication skills.
• Basic computer skills, including MS Office, expense reporting, and travel booking.
• Valid driver's license.

Work Environment

• Lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds.
• Working safely inside or outside, at heights, on ladders or platforms.
• Ability to work on feet for extended periods.
• Adherence to safety measures in various weather conditions.
