Brightondale Senior Living in New Brighton, MN is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep residents' homes safe, comfortable, and functioning properly. You will fix faucets, heating systems, and other essentials in apartments, common areas, and the grounds.

You will collaborate with the Maintenance Director to set yearly building goals, participate in the on-call rotation, and communicate scheduling with residents and staff. This is a full-time role with weekday hours and monthly on-call duties.

Qualifications

• Able to pass a drug test and a background check.
• 1–2 years of maintenance or handyman work (senior housing, apartments, hotels, or similar).
• High school diploma or GED.

Brightondale Senior Living is hiring a Maintenance Technician to keep our residents' homes safe, comfortable, and functioning properly.

Who you'll Serve

Brightondale is a Silvercrest Senior Living campus with independent and assisted living and memory care apartments. When a resident's faucet leaks or the heat goes out, you are the one who fixes it and makes their day better!

What you'll do

• Fix things in resident apartments, common areas, and on the grounds
• Do routine upkeep so the building and its systems keep running well
• Get empty apartments ready for new residents to move in
• Tell residents and staff ahead of time when maintenance is scheduled
• Work with the Maintenance Director to set yearly building goals and help meet them
• Take your turn on the on-call rotation for after-hours issues

Schedule

• Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm
• On-call rotation (monthly)

What you’ll need

Required

Able to pass a drug test and a background check

Preferred

1 to 2 years of maintenance or handyman work (senior housing, apartments, hotels, or similar); and aHigh school diploma or GED
