AHL HealthCare Group is seeking a Property Maintenance Technician in Duluth, MN to service group homes, assisted living facilities, and rental properties in Duluth and surrounding areas.

You will perform repairs, install appliances and flooring, paint, and handle routine maintenance with knowledge of carpentry, electrical, plumbing, heating, HVAC, and renovation tasks. This full-time role requires on-site work and occasional on-call duties.

Formación

• Must have comprehensive knowledge of carpentry, painting, plumbing, heating, HVAC, and electrical systems.
• Ability to bend, crouch, and lift objects throughout the workday.
• Managing and reviewing maintenance requests with planning and prioritizing work.
• Documentation of property safety concerns and inspections.

Responsabilidades

• Complete routine and scheduled maintenance across all properties correctly and in a timely manner.
• Perform repairs, installations of light fixtures, ceiling fans, plumbing fixtures and all household appliances.
• Diagnose and repair problems with building heat, electricity, and water systems; manage water softener salt deliveries.
• Replace interior and exterior doors and windows.
• Repair flooring from stretching carpet to full replacement and repair (wood, vinyl, linoleum, stone, tile, carpeting).
• Maintain exterior of homes as needed.
• Repair, replace and build outdoor decks, stairs, and fences.
• Be on-call to respond to emergency issues.

AHL Healthcare Group seeks a dynamic and driven individual to join our team as a Property Maintenance Technician. In this position, you will be responsible for servicing AHL group homes, assisted living facilities, and residential/commercial rental properties in Duluth and its surrounding area. You will be conducting repairs, installing appliances and flooring, painting, waste disposal, performing scheduled maintenance tasks, and assisting with major projects within the organization as required. Knowledge of carpentry, electrical, plumbing, heating and renovation tasks is essential.

Location:

• Duluth, MN and surrounding areas

Schedule:

• Full-Time
• Monday through Friday
• 8am to 4:30pm with half hour lunch break
• Some on-call for emergencies

Compensation:

• $26.00-$28.00 an hour depending on experience

Job Duties:

• Diagnose and repair problems with building heat, electricity, and water systems to include purchasing and delivering water softener salt monthly to all properties
• Replace both interior and exterior doors and windows
• Repair flooring from stretching carpet to full replacement and repair to include wood, vinyl, linoleum, stone and tile and carpeting
• Maintain exterior of homes as needed
• Repair, replace and build outdoor decks, stairs, and fences
• Be on-call to respond to emergency issues

Requirements:

• 18 years or older
• Pass a MN DHS background study
• Pass a MVR check
• Comprehensive knowledge of carpentry, painting, plumbing, heating, HVAC, electrical systems
• Physical ability to bend, crouch, and lift objects throughout the workday
• Managing and reviewing the maintenance requests the planning and prioritizing work
• Documentation of property safety concerns and inspections
• Valid driver's license with access to reliable transportation
• Available afterhours for emergencies
• Knowledge to plan projects and be strong at decision-making
• Proficiency to troubleshoot and solve complex problems
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
• Organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
