Job summary

Legend Senior Living is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our maintenance team. You will maintain the equipment, operating systems, structure and grounds to keep residents safe and comfortable in their home-like setting.

The role involves performing and documenting work orders, coordinating with the Maintenance Director, and ensuring compliance with safety guidelines. Evening/weekend availability may be required, with on-call and call-back bonus opportunities.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a related trade or position, preferably with expertise in electrical, HVAC and repairs and/or maintenance.
• Ability to operate a motor vehicle as part of service and delivery requirements.

Responsibilities

• Regularly walking throughout the residence and grounds to check equipment, maintain appearance, and ensure safety
• Completing and documenting work orders as assigned by the Maintenance Director, including maintenance and repairs for the building, grounds and equipment
• Following troubleshooting, reporting to the Maintenance Director any parts or supplies needed to complete repairs
• Assisting the Director with completion and documentation of inventory, preventative maintenance, warranties, inspections, and overseeing work performed by outside vendors
• Communicating effectively with residents and staff
• Adhering to company policies, procedures and safety guidelines

Hours: Tuesday - Saturday or Sunday - Thursday. Daylight hours
