Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a Maintenance Technician to maintain and repair manufacturing equipment, perform preventative maintenance, and support production lines.

You will troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems using PLCs and test equipment, collaborate with engineers, and enforce safety protocols.

A valid driver's license and ability to lift up to 50 pounds are required; prior experience in a manufacturing setting is preferred.

Job description

• Maintain and repair manufacturing equipment


• Provide general building maintenance


• Ensure smooth operation of production lines


• Perform welding repairs and cleaning


• Maintain forklifts


• Perform preventative maintenance to address equipment failures


• Use schematics and test equipment to troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic integrated systems


• Maintain cleanliness of welders and surrounding work areas


• Utilize data acquisition systems, measurement and test instrumentation, PC systems, and PLCs for troubleshooting, repair, and calibration


• Ensure safety maintenance with hot wires, ground cables, and feeders


• Check air quality of ventilation systems and adjust them to comply with safety codes


• Collaborate with engineers to resolve equipment issues


• Enforce safety measures


• Assist with establishing new procedures and work instructions for equipment maintenance

Requirements

• 1+ years of experience performing preventative maintenance, control wiring, PLC, and mechanical maintenance aptitude, preferably in a manufacturing environment


• Proven communication skills


• Computer literacy


• Experience functioning as a team member, learning throughout the organization, and supporting the needs of all buildings


• Ability to bend, twist, reach, and grasp with fingers


• Ability to stand for extended periods of time


• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds


• Valid driver's license with clean driving record


• Authorized to work in the United States
