Job summary

Jobtailor in Phoenix, AZ seeks a Facility Maintenance Technician to uphold manufacturing and building systems. You will perform preventative and unscheduled maintenance on equipment, troubleshoot issues, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years' related facility maintenance experience.
High School Diploma.
Prior facility maintenance experience.
Basic knowledge of tools and proper usage.
Good interpersonal skills.
Able to lift 50 pounds.
Ability to shift focus quickly between problems.
Some knowledge of mechanical, plumbing, electrical, pneumatics, etc.
Advanced technical degree or college preferred.

Responsibilities

Maintain all equipment through preventative maintenance and unscheduled repairs.
Ensure compliance with building codes and OSHA.
Ensure facility meets all safety regulations/requirements.
Assist in setting up for meetings held in facility.
Perform other duties/special projects as assigned.
Repair manufacturing equipment and peripheral support equipment, including vacuum pumps, compressors, and dryers.
Perform preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment and peripheral support equipment.
Assist with installation, relocation, and decommissioning of equipment.
Use CMMS to schedule PMs, log repairs, and record downtime.
Troubleshoot and diagnose basic equipment problems.
Maintain spare parts inventory.
Source parts and tools needed to perform various tasks.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Perform facility maintenance, including interior painting and minor interior structure repairs.
