Maintenance Technician Role

The Maintenance Technician assists in property maintenance, including corrective, preventative, routine, emergency, and cosmetic tasks. They support the make-ready process under supervision, ensuring operational objectives are met.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Community Maintenance: respond to requests, ensure repairs, assist with turn events, maintain cleanliness, perform pool maintenance, inspect grounds, and follow safety policies.
• Customer & Resident Relations: deliver excellent service, manage requests promptly, project a positive community image, enforce policies, and participate in emergency on-call duties.

Education/Experience

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with on-site software
• Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA standards

Physical Requirements

• Regular movement, ladder/climb work, operating machinery, working outdoors, lifting heavy objects, and working overtime or nights as needed.

License/Equipment

• Reliable transportation for emergency on-call duties.

Compensation is based on skills, experience, and qualifications, with a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, 401K, bonuses, paid sick days, and holidays.

Salary Range: $15 per hour.
