Job description

The Field Service Technician will be responsible for providing on-site service, maintenance, start up and installation supervision of equipment. This role involves troubleshooting technical issues, performing repairs, and ensuring customer satisfaction through excellent service.

• Verify correct installation and configuration, of equipment at various field locations.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot technical problems.
• Document all service and repair activities.
• Provide technical training and support to customers.
• Maintain inventory of parts and tools.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Manage service schedules and prioritize tasks effectively
• Perform start up of newly installed equipment and systems. Including PLC programming adjustments and system dial in to meet contractual performance requirements.

Skills & Experience Required:

• At least 2 years' experience in a similar role or technical field
• Hands-on experience with equipment installation and repair
• Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems
• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel frequently.
• Technical degree or certification preferred.
• Familiarity with mobile tools and applications.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities.
