Job summary

Newbury Living in Omaha, NE is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our high-performing team. You will perform apartment turnovers and tackle HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general repairs to keep units move-in ready.

This role offers starting pay of $28.00-30.00 per hour, quarterly bonuses, and opportunities for growth while delivering excellent resident service and coordinating with vendors.

• Perform apartment turnovers to ensure units are move-in ready.

• Carry out property inspections and coordinate with vendors as needed.
• Provide excellent resident service and clear communication.
• Participate in after-hours emergency response/coordination.

Your Day-to-Day Will Include:

Performing apartment turnovers and ensuring units are move-in ready

Handling maintenance repairs across HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general systems

Conducting preventative maintenance to keep everything running smoothly

Completing property inspections and coordinating with vendors as needed

Providing exceptional resident service and communication

Participating in after-hours emergency response/coordination

Who You Are:

Experienced in HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems

A team player with great problem‑solving abilities

Communicates clearly and professionally – both written and verbal

Brings a positive attitude and strong work ethic

Has 3+ years of apartment maintenance experience (preferred)

Holds a valid Iowa driver’s license and vehicle insurance

Able to pass a background check and drug screening
