Job summary

Envolve Community Management, a multifamily company, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to work at one of our Omaha apartment communities. The successful candidate will perform general maintenance, repair appliances, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry, complete work orders, and ensure high resident satisfaction.

You must have own tools, reliable transportation, and be prepared for occasional overtime. Evenings or weekend calls may be required to address emergencies; experience and a commitment

Qualifications

• Three plus years of Maintenance Technician experience.
• Must be able to move heavy equipment safely using proper equipment.
• Available for emergency maintenance calls 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
• Normal work hours are usually 8am–5pm, Mon-Fri, with occasional overtime.

Responsibilities

• Repair apartment appliances, water heaters, electrical fixtures, bulbs, and general maintenance repairs.
• Perform preventive maintenance duties as needed.
• Complete work orders and forms to document maintenance operations.
• Provide exceptional customer service to residents.

Currently, we are searching for a Maintenance Technician to work at one of our apartment communities in Omaha, NE.

The successful candidate must have some experience in plumbing, electrical, and carpentry. A commitment to exceptional customer service is critical. The Maintenance Technician will perform general maintenance and repairs. Must be able to pick up grounds and unit turns. Must have own tools to use for this position. Must have reliable transportation.

Duties

Must possess the ability and tools to repair apartment appliances, water heaters, electrical fixtures, bulbs, commodes, sinks, basic carpentry and any general maintenance repairs that may arise. Knowledge to perform preventive maintenance duties as needed. Complete work orders and forms to assure all documentation regarding operations of maintenance equipment is completed properly. A commitment to exceptional customer service is critical.

Qualifications

Three plus years of Maintenance Technician experience. Must be able to move heavy equipment safely, using proper equipment. This candidate must be available for emergency maintenance calls 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Normal work hours are usually between 8am - 5pm, Mon-Fri (may vary slightly based on season) with occasional overtime required.

Background Screening and Drug Test Required

Reliable transportation required.
