Job summary

Piworld in Jacksonville, FL is seeking an energetic Maintenance Technician to support our manufacturing, graphics and distribution facilities. You will perform routine and emergency maintenance on production machinery, and handle basic building repairs as needed.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years in facility maintenance, strong mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and plumbing skills, and good problem‑solving and communication abilities. A clean driving record is preferred.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in facility maintenance or repair.
• Experience with machinery maintenance including electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Experience with minor building repairs and maintenance.
• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and emergency maintenance on production machinery.

Job description

We are currently seeking an energetic and talented Maintenance Technician for our manufacturing, graphics and distribution facilities.

The ideal candidate will possess skills in the following: Mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and basic plumbing.

This individual must have a clean driving record, good practical, technical, and communication skills, with the ability in basic math and problem-solving skills.

The ability to manage a varied workload and the initiative to work on your own or as part of a team.

This is a Monday through Friday, full-time position, although occasional overtime, including weekends, may be required when necessary.

This position consists of the following responsibilities and duties:

• Candidate will perform routine and emergency repairs and maintenance to production machinery.
• Maintenance of property.
• Candidate will also perform any other duties as assigned, including production work as customer demand requires.

Ideal qualifications for this position:

• Proven experience in a facility maintenance and/or repair field.
• Experience in maintenance and repair for machinery, which may include electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, plumbing, and facility.
• Experience with minor repairs and maintenance to buildings.
• Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent with 1-2 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
