Job summary

Capital Vacations, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician to upkeep our Sales Center and Welcome Center. You will conduct preventative maintenance, perform basic repairs in electrical, plumbing, painting, and landscaping, and respond to maintenance calls to keep facilities guest-ready.

You will read work orders, use basic tools, and assist guests as needed while coordinating with the management team to ensure safety and quality across our resort locations in Florida.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with proof of insurance.
• Clean driving record.
• Knowledge of the Timeshare industry is a plus.
• Experience in general resort maintenance (landscaping, construction, upkeep).
• Ability to read construction work orders and use basic tools.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the Sales Center and Welcome Center, performing routine upkeep.
• Implement preventative maintenance (AC filters, fire extinguishers, appliances).
• Perform painting, plumbing, electrical tasks, and landscaping as needed.
• Complete maintenance calls and general upkeep; notify manager of issues.
• Assist guests when needed and support other duties as assigned.
• Ensure safety and cleanliness across resort properties.

The Maintenance Technician implements the upkeep and maintenance of the Sales Center and Welcome Center.

What you're great at:

• Implements preventative maintenance programs such as A/C filters, fire extinguishers, and appliances
• Maintains daily upkeep, included but not limited to painting, plumbing, electrical work, moving furniture, hanging drywall and landscaping clean-up
• Completes maintenance calls, general upkeep of Sales Center and Welcome Center
• Notifies manager of any issues
• Assists guests when needed
• Completes all other duties as requested
