Job summary

MSW Machinery Solutions is seeking a Maintenance Technician (Travel Options) to install, assemble and repair equipment, piping and structures at customer sites, with a focus on timely service and customer satisfaction.

The role requires performing preventative maintenance, using a range of power and hand tools, and collaborating with customers and team members. Travel will be required, with expenses paid for out-of-town assignments, and the company provides vacation time and holidays.

Qualifications

• 2 years experience in machinery and/or building maintenance.
• Demonstrate competency in one or more of the following trades: Welding, Pipefitting, Millwright/machinery rigging.

Maintenance Technician (Travel Options)

Job Description:

• Without direct supervision, provide for the Installation, assembly and repair of equipment, piping and structures related to the building.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance and service.
• Be skilled with a variety of power and hand tools to perform job functions.
• Understand instructions and complete repairs and part replacements to the satisfaction of the customer in a timely manner.
• Work effectively with the customer and other team members.
• Submit daily work reports and maintain a written record of the work performed.
• Machine trouble shooting.
• Injection molding.
• Good hydraulic and electrical trouble shooting skills – must be SKILLED.
• Good blueprint skills.
• Mechanically sound.

Qualifications:

• 2 years experience in machinery and/or building maintenance.

• Demonstrate competency in one or more of the following trades:

  • Structural steel welding.
  • Pipefitting and plumbing.
  • Millwright and machinery rigging.
• Ability to calculate basic mathematical problems.
• Ability to walk, stand, and lift for an extended period of time.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Maintain a valid driver's license.
• Pass periodic observed drug screening.
• Pass a criminal background check.
