Job summary

MSW Machinery Solutions is seeking a Maintenance Technician with travel options in the United States. The role involves installing and repairing equipment, performing preventative maintenance, and coordinating with customers on site and remotely.

Ideal candidates have about 2 years in machinery/building maintenance, can read blueprints, and possess strong communication skills. Travel is required, with on-site and out-of-town work supported by MSW.

Qualifications

• 2 years experience in machinery and/or building maintenance.
• Competency in one or more trades: structural steel welding, pipefitting/plumbing, millwrighting or machinery rigging.
• Ability to calculate basic mathematical problems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Maintenance Technician (Travel Options)

Job Description:

• Without direct supervision, provide for the Installation, assembly and repair of equipment, piping and structures related to the building.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance and service.
• Be skilled with a variety of power and hand tools to perform job functions.
• Understand instructions and complete repairs and part replacements to the satisfaction of the customer in a timely manner.
• Work effectively with the customer and other team members.
• Submit daily work reports and maintain a written record of the work performed.
• Machine troubleshooting.
• Good hydraulic and electrical troubleshooting skills - must be SKILLED.
• Good blueprint skills.
• Mechanically sound.

Qualifications:

• 2 years experience in machinery and/or building maintenance.
• Demonstrate competency in one or more of the following trades:
  • Structural steel welding.
  • Pipefitting and plumbing.
  • Millwright and machinery rigging.
• Ability to calculate basic mathematical problems.
• Ability to walk, stand, and lift for an extended period of time.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Maintain a valid driver's license.
• Pass periodic observed drug screening.
• Pass a criminal background check.
