Job summary

MSW Machinery Solutions is seeking a Maintenance Technician with travel options in the Atlanta area. You will install, assemble and repair equipment, perform routine maintenance, and use a variety of tools to meet customer needs.

Excellent blueprint reading, hydraulics and electrical troubleshooting are valued as essential skills. Responsibilities include documenting daily activities, collaborating with customers, and ensuring timely, high-quality service.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in machinery or building maintenance.
• Competency in one or more trades: structural welding, pipefitting/plumbing, millwright or rigging.
• Good math skills for basic calculations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Valid driver6 license.
• Able to pass drug screening and background check.

Responsibilities

• Install, assemble and repair equipment, piping and related structures.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance and service.
• Use power and hand tools to complete tasks.
• Follow instructions and complete repairs to satisfy customers promptly.
• Collaborate with customers and team members.
• Submit daily work reports and maintain records of work performed.
• Troubleshoot machines, hydraulics and electrical systems.
• Interpret blueprints and ensure mechanical integrity.

Maintenance Technician (Travel Options)

Job Description:

• Without direct supervision, provide for the Installation, assembly and repair of equipment, piping and structures related to the building.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance and service.
• Be skilled with a variety of power and hand tools to perform job functions.
• Understand instructions and complete repairs and part replacements to the satisfaction of the customer in a timely manner.
• Work effectively with the customer and other team members.
• Submit daily work reports and maintain a written record of the work performed.
• Machine troubleshooting.
• Good hydraulic and electrical troubleshooting skills - must be SKILLED.
• Good blueprint skills.
• Mechanically sound.

Qualifications:

• 2 years experience in machinery and/or building maintenance.
• Demonstrate competency in one or more of the following trades:
  • Structural steel welding.
  • Pipefitting and plumbing.
  • Millwright and machinery rigging.
• Ability to calculate basic mathematical problems.
• Ability to walk, stand, and lift for an extended period of time.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Maintain a valid driver's license.
• Pass periodic observed drug screening.
• Pass a criminal background check.
