Job summary

MSW Machinery Solutions in Green Bay, WI seeks a Maintenance Technician with travel options to install, assemble and repair equipment, piping and structures for customer sites. You will perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot hydraulics and electronics, read blueprints, and work with customers and team members to ensure timely, quality service.

Qualifications

• 2 years experience in machinery/building maintenance.
• Competency in one or more trades: structural steel welding, pipefitting/plumbing, or millwright and machinery rigging.
• Ability to calculate basic mathematical problems.
• Ability to walk, stand, and lift for extended periods.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Pass periodic drug screening and criminal background check.
• Maintain a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Provide installation, assembly and repair of equipment, piping and structures.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance and service.
• Use power and hand tools to perform job functions.
• Complete repairs and part replacements to customer satisfaction in a timely manner.
• Work effectively with customers and other team members.

Maintenance Technician (Travel Options)

• Without direct supervision, provide for the Installation, assembly and repair of equipment, piping and structures related to the building.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance and service.
• Be skilled with a variety of power and hand tools to perform job functions.
• Understand instructions and complete repairs and part replacements to the satisfaction of the customer in a timely manner.
• Work effectively with the customer and other team members.
• Submit daily work reports and maintain a written record of the work performed.
• Machine troubleshooting.
• Injection molding.
• Good hydraulic and electrical troubleshooting skills – must be SKILLED.
• Good blueprint skills.
• Mechanically sound.

Qualifications

• 2 years experience in machinery and/or building maintenance.
• Demonstrate competency in one or more of the following trades:
  • Structural steel welding.
  • Pipefitting and plumbing.
  • Millwright and machinery rigging.
• Ability to calculate basic mathematical problems.
• Ability to walk, stand, and lift for an extended period of time.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Maintain a valid driver's license.
• Pass periodic observed drug screening.
• Pass a criminal background check.
