Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Location: Montgomery, IL
Job type and Duration: Direct Hire
Pay rate: $30-35 hourly
Day shift with overtime

Global manufacturer has been experiencing tremendous growth over the last few years and is moving to a new, world-class facility complete with gym and other amenities. They are looking for skilled Maintenance Technicians to join their team on days.

PURPOSE OF ROLE:

Assist in the performance of a variety of maintenance and repair duties under the supervision of the Maintenance Manager.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Assist with the repair, maintenance and installation of machines, tools and equipment.
2. Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production and warehouse equipment and perform scheduled maintenance repairs.
3. Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments.
4. Assist with the regular preventive maintenance on machines, and other equipment as indicated in the Preventive Maintenance program.
5. Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
6. Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties.
7. Detect faulty operations, and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision.
8. Basic or general building maintenance, ground maintenance (snow plowing) and repair.
9. Experience fabricating machine parts.
10. Welding a plus.

Experience:

1. Must have strong Mechanical experience working on conveyors and other production equipment as well as Electrical repair experience.
2. 5-10+ years experience with stable job tenure.
