Job summary

The Liberty Group is actively seeking HVAC-certified Apartment Maintenance Technicians for onsite communities. Pay ranges from $21 to $23 per hour, depending on experience.

Candidates should have EPA/CFC/HVAC certification, at least 6 months of onsite apartment maintenance experience, a valid government-issued ID, reliable transportation, and their own basic tools. Onsite duties include diagnosing and repairing HVAC systems, performing preventative maintenance on A/C and mechanical systems,

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance on A/C and mechanical systems.
• Complete resident service requests efficiently and professionally.
• Prepare vacant apartments for make-ready/turn status (repairs and improvements).
• Maintain grounds and common areas.
• Document work completed in maintenance logs.
• Prioritize multiple work orders and deliver great resident customer service.

• A/C Certification: EPA/CFC/HVAC certification (as required for the role)
• 6+ months onsite apartment maintenance experience
• Valid government-issued ID
• Reliable transportation
• Own basic tools needed for maintenance work

What you’ll do

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems
• Perform preventative maintenance on A/C and mechanical systems
• Complete resident service requests efficiently and professionally
• Prepare vacant apartments for “make-ready” / turn status (repairs + improvements)
• Maintain grounds and common areas
• Document work completed in maintenance logs
• Prioritize multiple work orders and deliver great resident customer service

Preferred (not required)

• Strong apartment turn / make-ready experience
• Experience in related fields (hotel maintenance, carpentry, rehab, condo) only if you also have onsite apartment experience
