Job summary

Wingate Management Company in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician to oversee and perform maintenance at our property. The role includes repairs across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general maintenance, plus preparing apartments for new residents and maintaining grounds and equipment.

The ideal candidate has 1+ years of maintenance experience, basic computer skills, and HVAC knowledge.

Qualifications

• 1+ years experience as a Maintenance Technician.
• HVAC knowledge is a plus, boilers/heating systems.
• Experience with plumbing, electrical troubleshooting, turnovers, and preventive maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Complete repairs across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general maintenance.
• Prepare apartments for new residents (turnovers).
• Maintain grounds, common areas, and equipment.
• Identify and resolve maintenance issues proactively.
• Coordinate with vendors and safely use tools/equipment.

Maintenance Technician – Grand Rapids, MI

Pay: $23.00 to $24.00 / hour
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday to Friday - 8:00am to 5:00pm (with on-call rotation)
