Job summary

Unknown Grand Island area manufacturing company is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the day shift. The role involves troubleshooting mechanical and electrical equipment, performing preventive maintenance, and keeping production lines running safely and efficiently.

Starting pay ranges from $28 to $34 per hour with a direct-hire arrangement and a stable Monday–Friday schedule (5:30am–1:30pm). Long-term growth opportunities exist within the organization.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Working knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, bearings, conveyors, control systems, and industrial machinery.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and troubleshoot equipment safely and efficiently.
• Welding, fabrication, forklift certification, or additional industrial maintenance certifications are a plus.
• This is a full-time permanent position.
• Candidate will be directly hired on with the company day one.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on a variety of industrial manufacturing equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings.
• Repair and maintain motors, control panels, relays, bearings, gears, shafts, and other production equipment.
• Help minimize production downtime by responding to equipment issues in a safe, timely, and efficient manner.
