Qualifications

• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Experience with mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical documents.
• Familiarity with PLCs and industrial control systems.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair production equipment, machinery, and facility systems.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues.
• Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
• Work with PLCs for troubleshooting and monitoring machine performance.
• Perform preventive maintenance to reduce equipment failures and improve reliability.
• Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns to minimize production interruptions.
• Repair or replace motors, sensors, relays, drives, contactors, and other electrical components.
• Test equipment after repairs to ensure proper operation and safety compliance.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, and inventory levels.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives, including 5S programs and equipment upgrades.
• Work closely with operations and production teams to prioritize maintenance needs.
• Follow all safety procedures, including lockout/tagout and PPE requirements.

Work Environment

• Manufacturing/industrial setting.
• Regular exposure to machinery, moving parts, vibration, and moderate-to-high noise levels.
• Use of hand tools, power tools, lifts, and maintenance equipment.
• Hearing protection required in designated areas.

Physical Requirements

• Stand and walk for up to 8 hours per shift.
• Frequently lift up to 25 lbs. and occasionally up to 45 lbs.
• Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and work in various positions as needed.
• Ability to safely perform maintenance tasks in an active manufacturing environment.
