Job summary

Clarios in Geneva, IL seeks a maintenance mechanic to diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of manufacturing equipment and plant systems. You’ll troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and utility issues. You will perform preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance and document work orders and parts logs.

Experience reading blueprints and production specs is required, with PLC knowledge preferred. Must supply own tools and be able to lift 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• 2+ years maintenance mechanic experience (manufacturing preferred).
• Experience troubleshooting mechanical and electrical problems.
• Technical training in mechanical/electrical systems; PLC knowledge preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and production specs.
• Strong problem-solving and data entry skills.
• Must supply own tools.
• U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident (sponsorship not available).
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs., bend, stoop, and work overtime/weekends as needed.

Responsibilities
