Job summary

Clarios in Geneva, IL is looking for a Maintenance Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain manufacturing equipment. This role requires mechanical and electrical troubleshooting with hands-on use of tools and machines, plus the ability to read blueprints and production specs.

Qualifications

• 2+ years maintenance mechanic experience (manufacturing preferred).
• Experience troubleshooting mechanical and electrical problems.
• Technical training in mechanical/electrical systems; PLC knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of manufacturing equipment and plant systems.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and utility issues.
• Perform preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance activities.
• Adjust and install machinery, power, controls, and utilities.
• Use hand tools and machine shop equipment (lathe, milling machine, drill press, welder, etc.).
• Create and document work orders, track parts, and log maintenance data.
• Maintain a safe work environment and follow all PPE requirements.

Job Responsibilities
