Flaherty & Collins Properties is seeking a Maintenance Technician at The Enclave in Elizabethtown, KY. The role focuses on routine maintenance and prompt resolution of resident requests, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.

You will work with the Maintenance Supervisor to prioritize work orders and ensure safety standards are met. Applicants should have a high school diploma, hands-on maintenance experience, and a willingness to learn.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• HVAC/EPA certifications or similar credentials are a plus.
• Hands-on maintenance experience with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and repairs.

Responsabilités

• Perform routine and preventative maintenance on property systems and equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and related systems.
• Address and resolve resident maintenance requests promptly and professionally.
• Conduct property inspections and address identified maintenance needs.
• Maintain inventory of tools and supplies and assist with turnovers.
• Respond to after-hours emergencies and participate in on-call rotation.

What You’ll Do:

• Perform routine and preventative maintenance tasks, ensuring all property systems and equipment are in excellent working condition.
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and other systems as needed.
• Address and resolve resident maintenance requests promptly and professionally.
• Conduct property inspections to identify and address maintenance needs proactively.
• Collaborate with the Maintenance Supervisor and Property Manager to prioritize and complete work orders efficiently.
• Ensure the property meets safety standards and complies with applicable regulations.
• Maintain an organized inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies.
• Assist with apartment turnovers, ensuring units are move-in ready for new residents.
• Respond to emergency maintenance issues, including after-hours calls when necessary.
• Perform snow and ice removal.
• Participate in an on‑call rotation to respond to after‑hours maintenance emergencies. Weekend work is required as needed.
• Physical tasks are required, along with other duties as assigned.
