Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; technical or vocational degree preferred.
• Experience in plant or industrial maintenance.
• Experience repairing mechanical or electrical equipment.
• Ability to read mechanical and electrical drawings, schematics and manuals.
• Experience operating a forklift.
• Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on extrusion lines, payoffs, take-ups, ovens, ink jet printers, braiders, hoppers and pumps.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical equipment issues to minimize downtime.
• Calibrate critical equipment and measuring devices to maintain accuracy.
• Conduct facility safety checks and inspections.
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs and equipment records.
• Coordinate with external service providers when needed.
• Follow established maintenance procedures and recommend updates for improvement.
• Partner with engineering on machine upgrades and new equipment installations.
• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety standards and regulations (OSHA, NFPA 70E).

Job Description:

In this role, you will perform routine and emergency maintenance on production equipment, helping ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations. This position is ideal for someone who is proactive, detail-oriented, and enjoys solving technical challenges in a collaborative environment.

Candidates must meet the following requirements to be considered:

• Previous experience in plant or industrial maintenance

• Experience repairing mechanical or electrical equipment

• Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings, schematics, and technical manuals

• Experience operating a forklift

• Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed

Pay Details:

$30.00 to $32.00 per hour
