ManpowerGroup's client in East Granby, CT is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join the operations support team. You will perform routine maintenance and repairs on production equipment, including extrusion lines and ovens, ensuring minimal downtime.

The ideal candidate will have a hands-on approach, good problem-solving skills, and the ability to read mechanical and electrical drawings. This role offers a consistent day shift and opportunities for growth within a dynamic manufacturing

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in plant or industrial maintenance.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Hands-on experience repairing mechanical and electrical equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment, including extrusion lines, payoffs, take-ups, ovens, ink jet printers, braiders, hoppers, and pumps.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical equipment issues to minimize downtime.
• Calibrate critical equipment and measuring devices to maintain accuracy.
• Conduct facility safety checks and inspections.
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs and equipment records.

Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Location: East Granby, CT

Pay Range: $30-32/hour

Shift: 7am-3pm

What's the Job?

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment, including extrusion lines, payoffs, take-ups, ovens, ink jet printers, braiders, hoppers, and pumps
