Avenues Recovery Center is hiring a maintenance technician for our Aurora, CO facility. The role focuses on routine inspections, repairs, and renovations to keep the facility safe and functional for clients and staff.

You will troubleshoot technical issues, perform exterior and interior upkeep, and manage daily checklists. A background in carpentry is helpful, and applicants in recovery with at least one year sober are encouraged to apply.

Formación

• High School diploma or GED required or preferred.
• If in recovery, at least 1 year of sustained sobriety is required.
• Ability to problem solve and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• General knowledge of carpentry and repair is desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Regularly inspect facility, equipment and property for defects.
• Assist with building renovations/ repairs, interior and exterior.
• Handle technical difficulties (video calls, internet, equipment maintenance).
• Perform outside custodial duties (gardening, snow removal).
• Complete daily, weekly and monthly checklists to ensure building and equipment are in good condition.

What You'll Do

• Regularly inspect facility, equipment and property for defects,
• Assist with any building renovations/ repairs, both interior and exterior
• Assist with any technical difficulties (video calls, internet service, equipment maintenance etc.)
• Perform outside custodial duties (gardening, snow removal etc.)
• Complete daily, weekly and monthly checklists to ensure proper building and equipment

What We're Looking For

• High School diploma or GED preferred
• If in recovery, a minim one-year period of sustained sobriety is required.
• Innovative, strong worker with ability to problem solve and multitask
• General knowledge of carpentry and repair
